Programs

Since formation, Christie’s Heart Samaritan Care Foundation Inc. has proudly established a mobile health clinic that serves the disadvantaged population of Haiti and Dominican Republic. Our administrators have created a comprehensive health care program that is designed to efficiently improve our target demographics’ overall well being and happiness. Our services currently serve the underserved rural communities of Port-De-Paix, Haiti and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on an annual basis. We will continue to practice strong financial stewardship in order to expand the number of villages that we are able to visit and increase the frequency of our operations.

Our patient services include, but are not limited to, the following treatments:

Health Seminars

In order to properly educate our patients on how to live in the healthiest manner possible, our directors have established monthly health-based seminars that empowers attendees to address any health concerns they may be facing. A licensed MD and nurse will be available to meet with each patient in order to distribute vitamins, proteins, and maintenance medication for chronic conditions, all while treating acute conditions for both children and adults.

Food and School Supply Distribution Program

Christie’s Heart Samaritan Care Foundation Inc. also operates a food and school supply distribution program for Haitians and Dominican Republicans that are unable to afford the basic needs required to live a healthy lifestyle. Throughout this program, participants have the opportunity to receive a variety of basic needs and develop meaningful relationships with our caring volunteers. The supplies we distribute may include, but is not limited to, nutritious food products, clothing items, and schools’ supplies.  In addition, we also provide age appropriate toys to underserved children on an annual basis. Our trained representatives are available to assist the clients with any additional concerns they may be facing and make referrals to outside community and government programs that may be of assistance. All economically vulnerable individuals are welcomed and encouraged to participate in our programs as long as they continue to demonstrate their need.
